Getting Started#

Depending on your involvement with our project, you probably want to request access to:

• The group’s GitHub team (you are already part of this if you can read this kb)
• The WSPR Slack workspace and the group channel
• The group’s Google Drive folder To request access to any of these resources, please contact Dom.

WSPR Lab#

Printers#

The WSPR lab has 2 printers that are directly accessible from the network (i.e., by being connected to eduroam)

• Black and White Printer (in the middle of the lab): sci-printer.csc.ncsu.edu or wspr-printer.csc.ncsu.edu, HP LaserJet Pro M501
• Color Printer (opposite of Laurie’s office): sci-color.csc.ncsu.edu, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M555
• Printer maintenance:
  • If out of paper: likely more in the shelf below the printer, more from the mail room (might need to ask faculty for access) or by asking somebody in the admin suite on the 3rd floor.
  • If out of ink: Ask somebody in the admin suite on the 3rd floor, the usually have spares in storage. Optionally (but would not recommend, takes forever), file ticket with CSC IT: csc_help@ncsu.edu

Alternatives: If the printers above are not functional, you can use these alternatives:

These printers are in the faculty mailroom on the 3rd floor, i.e., not accessible by students, you will need a professor to grab the printouts for you.
